Burundi elections

The World

Burundi holds its first competitive presidential election since a bloody civil war erupted in 1993. It marks the end of a 15-year rule of President Pierre Nkurunziza, who has been repeatedly accused of human rights abuses. Host Marco Werman speaks with Ketty Nivyabandi, a Burundian poet and human rights activist living in exile in Canada.
