For many, it’s a word loaded with “ewww.” The word “moist” has a rocky reputation in the English language. Especially right now, amid the novel coronavirus “moist” conjures up nasty and potentially dangerous bodily fluids. But a school principal in New Zealand has deployed the word in a catchy YouTube video as health advice for her kids coming back after lockdown encouraging them to stay out of each other’s “moist breath zone.”
