In West Africa, people in Burkina Faso and Mali are dealing with Islamist militants and other armed groups moving across their borders and regularly attacking soldiers and civilians. In response, security forces have scaled up their counterterrorism operations. The BBC's Louise Dewast reports on one family's story from the capital, Ouagadougou.
