The Trump administration says it will appeal against yesterday’s ruling of a US judge who included the reminder that “presidents are not kings.” The case involved the administration’s assertion that executive privilege entitled former White House counsel Don McGahn to defy a congressional subpoena. The judge ruled that allowing the president and his agents to be above the law was not just monarchical but tyrannical. The World’s Chris Woolf talks with host Marco Werman about the powers of monarchs around the world.
