The police shooting of a Guatemalan man who didn’t speak Spanish or English sparked protests in Los Angeles. And it prompted the LAPD to send its cops to workshops to learn about LA’s Indigenous immigrant communities and their languages. KCRW’s Saul Gonzalez has the story.
