Saudi women on trial:

The World

A number of women’s rights activists have gone on trial in Saudi Arabia. That includes Loujain al-Hathloul, a prominent figure in lifting the ban on driving there. Hathloul, along with several other activists, was detained a month before the ban was lifted in June of last year. Host Marco Werman speaks with journalist Alma Hassoun of BBC Arabic about these activists’ fate.
