Heather Nauert has been chosen by President Trump to become the new American ambassador to the United Nations. Nauert was a news anchor on Fox and just recently the spokesperson for the State Department. She doesn’t come to the new job with much foreign policy experience. Anne Marie Goetz, a professor of global affairs at New York University, tells host Marco Werman whether it’s important for the job.
