Libya: Gaddafi wife and children now living in Oman

The widow of longtime Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi and three of his children have been granted asylum in Oman, an Omani government official has told Reuters.
"Gaddafi's wife, two sons and a daughter, as well as their children have been in Oman since October last year," the official told Reuters. "We have already accepted their request for asylum provided they don't engage in political activities.”
Gaddafi’s family originally fled to Algeria in 2011, when Libyan rebels moved into Tripoli. Rebels captured his son Seif al-Islam.

International warrants have been issued by Interpol for Gaddafi’s daughter Aisha and son Hannibal, who the Omani official confirmed are living in Oman.
Libyan foreign minister Mohamed Abdelaziz told reporters today that it was “too soon” to say whether Libya would demand their extradition, according to the Associated Press.
