Singer Kelly Clarkson flashes huge engagement ring

The "Miss Independent" singer is about to get married!
Pop star Kelly Clarkson announced her engagement to beau Brandon Blackstock on Saturday night on Twitter.
According to Reuters, Clarkson, 30, has been dating talent manager Brandon Blackstock since early this year. Blackstock is the stepson of country singer Reba McEntire.
Clarkson made sure that her fans were the first to see the huge sparkler that Brandon gave her.
"Everyone has been asking about my engagement ring, so here it is :)," the singer tweeted.
"It's a yellow canary diamond with diamonds around it and Brandon designed it with Johnathon Arndt! They did an amazing job! I can't wait to make Brandon's ring with Johnathon as well!"
Clarkson was the first contestant to ever win the talent competition American Idol back in September 2002.Her album "Stronger" hit No. 2 last year on the Billboard 200 sales chart.
Clarkson told Ellen DeGeneres in November that most people assumed she and Blackstock, her talent manager, were already engaged, reports Zap2it.
"We are totally going to get married," she told DeGeneres. "We love each other. We are totally going to get married one day. No, he has two children and I'm new … I mean, he's got to put it a ring on it at some point. But I'll wait it out."
The pop star's wedding is unlikely to be as big and flashy as her ring. She also told Ellen "I've never been the girl to plan a wedding. We…will probably elope."
