Insane Clown Posse suing the FBI (VIDEO)

The Detroit horrorcore duo known as the Insane Clown Posse has officially filed a lawsuit against the FBI after they labeled the group's fans, who are known as Juggalos, a gang.

In the FBI's National Gang Threat Assessment report, they said the Juggalos were, "a loosely-organized hybrid gang … rapidly expanding into many US communities. Although recognized as a gang in only four states, many Juggalos subsets exhibit gang-like behavior and engage in criminal activity and violence. Law enforcement officials in at least 21 states have identified criminal Juggalo sub-sets, according to NGIC reporting."

The report further claimed that Juggalo crime activity was made up mostly of petty crimes including personal drug use and possession, petty theft and vandalism. The report added, "open source reporting suggests that a small number of Juggalos are forming more organized subsets and engaging in more gang-like criminal activity, such as felony assaults, thefts, robberies, and drug sales. Social networking websites are a popular conveyance for Juggalo sub-culture to communicate and expand."

The social networking the FBI is most likely referring to is the Juggalo-only website, JuggaloBook, or Facebook for Juggalos.

According to Spin Magazine, the Insane Clown Posse and their lawyers submitted a Freedom of Information Act request for whatever FBI intel led to their labeling as "a criminal organization formed in the street."

So far the request has been ignored. As a next step, Psychopathic Records, the label representing the Insane Clown Posse, has launched JuggalosFightBack.com to help their finds find resources if they feel they've been mistreated by law enforcement.

ICP rapper Shaggy 2 Dope told Village Voice, "You're trying to grow love in your country and s–t, then the head of your country—the FBI—just turns around and f–king kicks you in the nuts. How are you supposed to respond to that?"

Here is a video explaining the lifestyle of the Juggalo:
