Somalia: Mortar attack in Mogadishu kills 6 refugees, including a family

Six people were killed overnight when mortars landed on a refugee camp near Somalia's presidential palace in the capital Mogadishu, according to reports.
Agence France-Presse reported that four people from one family died in the mortar attack, for which Islamist group Al Shabaab has claimed responsibility.
Another 12 people were wounded when mortars hit crowded camps for displaced people as families slept, the Associated Press said.

The presidential palace was not reported to have been hit, despite claims by Al Shabaab, which said it had fired more than a dozen mortars, the BBC said.
Last week, five people were killed when a bomber blew himself up near the presidential palace.
Somalia's UN-backed government is guarded by a 10,000-strong African Union force.
