Edith Bouvier, Paul Conroy YouTube video a plea for Syria evacuation (VIDEO)

Edith Bouvier and Paul Conroy, European journalists wounded in Syria Wednesday, are on YouTube asking their governments to help with an evacuation.

In the video, Bouvier said her leg has been broken in two places, the Associated Press said.

She is with Sunday Times photographer Paul Conroy, Metro said. Bouvier and Conroy are with what appears to be a doctor and Syrian rebels.

"The doctors here have treated me very well, as much as they are able, but they are not able to undertake surgical procedures," Bouvier said in the Arabic-language video the Telegraph reported.

Bouvier and Conroy were with Sunday Times reporter Marie Colvin and French photojournalist Remi Ochlik Wednesday when a facility that become a makeshift media center was attacked. Colvin and Ochlik were killed.

Conroy may already be on his way out of Syria, the Telegraph said.

Syrian officials said they have taken steps to evacuate injured journalists.

"For humanitarian reasons, and although they entered the country without a permit to go to an area controlled by terrorists, the governor of Homs has been told to exert every effort possible to evacuate the journalists," Syria's information minister Adnan Mahmum told Agence France-Presse, according to this Al Arabiya news roundup
