The names of the jurors in the Casey Anthony trial were released by a judge today, the Associated Press reports.

The 12 jurors, and three alternates, who acquitted Anthony in a controversial murder trial, refused to speak with the media or were unavailable and went into hiding soon after the names release. The Orange-Osceola Chief Judge Belvin Perry called for the release of the names to be delayed to serve as a “cooling off period,” USA Today reports.

It has been three months since the jurors found Anthony not guilty of murdering her two-year-old daughter, Caylee. The verdict immediately hit a sore spot for many throughout the country who felt Anthony was guilty and caused a wave of death threats against the jurors, the AP reports

The jurors were randomly selected from Pinellas County, along Florida’s Gulf Coast, due to concerns about pretrial publicity in Orlando, and were sequestered until the verdict was announced, USA Today reports. Of the main jurors, seven are women and five are men; five are married, four are single, two are divorced and one is of unknown, USA Today reports. Six of the main jurors are parents.

Since the trial ended, one juror fled Florida in fear of her safety, Bay 9 News reports.

“I'll leave your card with the pile here," Mike Jones, husband of a juror, said, AP reports. "But I don't think she is going to want to talk." He opened the door of the home of alternate juror Elizabeth Jones and said she was at work, AP reports.

Anthony is now serving probation on an unrelated check fraud charge at a undisclosed location in Florida, USA Today reports. Anthony told detectives in 2008 her daughter was kidnapped by a nanny and the child’s body was later found in a wooded area not far from her home in Orlanda.
