Trump Casino offers plastic surgery as prize

What does the winner of a Trump Casino jackpot prize win in their card game? $25,000 worth of plastic surgery, apparently.

The winner at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort can essentially mix and match the surgeries, including breast enhancement, tummy tucks, liposuction, and face lifts, until they've hit the $25,000 mark.

"We think it's a great promotion. It creates a lot of excitement, everybody's talking about it" said Kathleen McSweeney, the senior vice president of marketing for Trump Entertainment resorts, speaking with WCBS in New York.

She went on to explain that the economy was tough, and it was hard to come by the sort of expendable income one needed for this kind of frivolous surgery.

“Many people have something they want to change; a nip and tuck here, a lift there, but the cost of these procedures can be quite costly,” McSweeney said. “This promotion will allow the winner the opportunity to get the procedures of their choice.”

So, NBC Philadelphia broke it down for us:
Botox treatments run about $200 to $400 per area. Breast enhancements about $5,000 to $8,000, check implants about $3,000 to $4,500 and lipsuction from $2,500 to $10,000.

If you're interested, here's how it works. Players earn credits towards the contest between Oct. 2nd and Oct 29. They must be present, with their card inserted into the card machine when the prize is awarded.

If the winner doesn't want the surgery, he/she can opt for the money in cash to use towards things like, maybe their child's tuition, or their mortgage. Sounds like a win-win.
