Clashes erupt amid Egypt protest

There have been fierce clashes in the Egyptian capital between supporters of President Hosni Mubarak and protesters calling on him to resign immediately. State TV said a member of the security forces had been killed and hundreds of people wounded in pitched battles in and around Cairo's Tahrir Square. The World's Matthew Bell is in Cairo.
