Global Nation Reporting Fund

Among them are:</p><ul><li><p>Daniel Connolly in Memphis, Tennessee, <a href="https://www.pri.org/stories/2017-01-18/more-mexicans-are-crossing-border-leave-us-here-s-one-family-s-story">told the story of a family making tough choices about their immigration status</a>.</p></li><li><p>Luis Mancheno brought us up close to <a href="https://www.pri.org/stories/2016-11-02/when-i-vote-next-week-i-will-be-saying-loud-and-clear-also-my-country">his life as a asylee-turned-lawyer</a> and Katherine Du painted us <a href="https://www.pri.org/stories/2016-09-14/what-i-learned-my-grandmother-s-hands">a picture of her life as the child of immigrants</a>.</p></li><li><p>Natasha Varner reported one of the most read stories on PRI.org of 2016, about <a href="https://www.pri.org/stories/2016-07-18/workers-who-pick-your-summer-berries-are-asking-you-not-buy-them">farm workers in Washington state</a>.</p></li><li><p>Valeria Fernández and Dan Carino took us into <a href="https://www.pri.org/stories/2016-07-07/these-asylum-seekers-are-being-forced-raise-their-kids-immigration-jails">the heart of our immigration detention system</a>.</p></li></ul><p>Your support has brought forward personal stories, in-depth reporting and unique perspectives.
