Ever wanted to be involved in the musical excitement of Afropop, but didn’t quite know how to make it happen? Ever want to sink your teeth into the wild world of live music in New York City and become an insider in all the big time wheelings and dealings? Well, here’s your chance! Afropop is looking for volunteers to help out at a variety of shows across the city this summer.
You will get a chance to do some meaningful work at the killer live performances where we are doing outreach. You will get to hang out with all the good people that make up the Afropop family. You’ll also get some Afropop swag. And, most importantly, you’ll be helping out your favorite public radio show/website in its ongoing quest to bring the best music in the world to people that want to hear (and see) it.
