You won't believe how well this Norwegian 8-year-old sings Nancy Sinatra

GlobalPost

"I was five and he was six, we rode on horses made of sticks..."

Somehow you believe those lyrics when they're sung by Angelina Jordan. Because she was five all of three years ago

The 8-year-old from Oslo has gobsmacked audiences worldwide with her performances on 'Norske Talenter,' or 'Norway's Got Talent.'

Her latest, a cover of Nancy Sinatra's version of the Cher song 'Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down),' will show you exactly why.

Holy moly, she's got our vote.

And it's not just one Sinatra she sings. Angelina can also do Frank:

But it was Jordan's rendition of Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday,' given before her eighth birthday, that won her a spot in the competition. Taking on Lady Day? Aged seven? Forget talent, that kid's got guts.

And just in case you needed any more proof that the little moppet's a Scandinavian superstar, here's what she gets up to when she's not killing at jazz covers, as per this interview: playing piano, hanging out at specialist record shops, cruising YouTube for inspiration, feeding ducks, and donating her shoes to street children. Just your average 8-year-old, then.
