As the world focuses its effort and aid on the areas in the Philippines most impacted by Typhoon Haiyan, survivors are grappling with the aftermath.

Authorities in the Philippines said the newest death toll has risen to 3,631, and expect that to rise further. More than 9 million people were impacted by the storm.
