For Rep. Sanchez, Questions on Syria Remain

The Takeaway

In Washington the debate over Syria continues.
Members of Congress returned to work on Wednesday, and though President Barack Obama called off a vote on military action, questions remain over exactly how and when a diplomatic resolution may unfold.
Lawmakers in both parties are now left to wrestle over the next steps, especially if an attempt to secure Syrian chemical weapons fails.
Joining The Takeaway is Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez. Congresswoman Sanchez represents California’s 46th district and is the second highest ranking Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee.
She voted against the war in Iraq–but she’s still on the fence about what to do in Syria. She discusses how she would vote on Syria and what her constituents are saying.
