Of anyone — political or otherwise — Anthony Weiner should be painfully aware of just how fast social media can affect your career.
That didn’t stop the New York City mayoral candidate, however, from going nose-to-nose with a heckler on Wednesday morning outside a Jewish bakery in Brooklyn.
According to a video of the incident posted by Weiner's own campaign, the argument began when a man told Weiner he was “married to an Arab.” The man called Weiner “disgusting,” and told him to stay out of the public eye.
That set off Weiner, who has a history of getting in trouble for sexy text messages.
Instead of turning the other cheek and walking away, he shouted back into the store at the man.
“You’re my judge?” Weiner countered. “What rabbi taught you that? What rabbi taught you that you’re my judge?”
“You’re fine,” the man said. “You talk to God and work out your problems, but stay out of the public eye.”
Of course, all the while cellphone cameras were rolling with at least three aimed at the entanglement. They were posted on YouTube within hours.
Jacob Kornbluh posted a two-minute, 19-second installment described as “fiery exchange with voter during campaign stop in Borough Park.”
Weiner later sent a tweet about the incident.
.@RossBarkan if by melt down you mean stood up to a heckler. Yep. Did that. That's what Mayors have to do sometimes.

Two shorter versions, recorded by YouTube user Efi Stock, capture the man again calling Weiner “disgusting,” and asking why he didn’t think of his wife.
“That is between me and her and my God,” Weiner said.
Although it’s uncertain if the same man is captured in the third video, someone calls Weiner a “white-collar welfare recipient.”
Weiner was a former Congressman, forced to resign after explicit messages between him and a mistress surfaced in 2011.
He admitted recently that he had done it even after getting caught.
Man, the guy just can’t catch a break. Maybe he should find a new career. Maybe weatherman.
