A NATO supply truck was set on fire by militants on Tuesday in Pakistan's Baluchistan province, local police officials told CNN

Police officer Fateh Muhammad told Pakistani newspaper Dawn that the NATO container was returning to Afghanistan after delivering supplies to coalition and US forces.

Two militants then opened fire on the vehicle in Bolan's Dhadar area.

Policeman Qazi Pervaiz told CNN: "The militants then came close and set the container on fire using petrol."

The truck's driver was able to escape, according to Dawn
