A death threat from one of Mexico's most powerful drug lords wasn't enough to make Dallas Morning News Correspondent Alfredo Corchado back down on his efforts to expose the dealings of the narco-trafficantes. Corchado discusses his new memoir: "Midnight in Mexico: A Reporter's Journey Through a Country's Descent Into Darkness."

"When you really start to follow the money, and you start penetrating the corruption between the cartels and the government, that's when things can really go wrong," Corchado says.
