Honda recalls 46,000 sports cars
Honda Motor announced Friday it will recall more than 2 million vehicles in the U.S. and China to update the software that controls their automatic transmission.
Are you speeding across town in one of the new Fit sports cars by Honda? Slowly get off the highway–do not brake suddenly!–and drive your car to the nearest Honda dealer. The party is over.
Honda Motor is recalling nearly 46,000 Fit Sport small cars in the US and Canada from the 2012 and 2013 model years.

The problem? The car might tilt too far to one side during sharp turns or if you apply the brakes quickly, according to documents filed with the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The defect was found during government testing of the model. The recall comes just two months after the Fit car was named one of the "Best Cars for the Money" by US News & World Report.
After the recall, Honda announced that "they're unaware of any crashes or injuries occurring due to the issue," Auto World News reported, which is somewhat more comforting than Honda being aware of crashes, but less comforting than brakes that work properly.
