Anthony Weiner “can’t say” that more lewd pics won’t surface

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner may be working on his comeback story but he admitted that the worst of his sexting scandal may not be behind him.

Weiner, 47, told reporters on Wednesday that he 'can't say' that more women won't come forward saying he sent them inappropriate texts and pictures.

Weiner resigned from his New York Congressional seat in June 2011 after being caught lying about sending lewd photos to several women through email and Twitter.

Weiner is making the media rounds to work on his image after announcing he's considering a run for New York City mayor. 

In an interview with NBC 4 New York, Weiner left the door open to more sexting accusations.

"Some things may come out that are true," Weiner said. "Some things are not."

He did not elaborate on what new information may be exposed.

"But here’s what I try to do to draw the line," he continued. "Basically, New Yorkers know the story. I did it. I did it with multiple people. These things were wrong and inappropriate, and I never should have been dishonest about it. They played out in the most public and embarrassing way possible. And that’s it."

In a separate interview with WABC-TV, Weiner seemed to dodge the question of exactly how many women received inappropriate photos.

When asked if it was six, Weiner said, "six is…." before pausing.

"It’s not 20 and it’s not 100."

"I did it, with more than one person. It was wrong. I was doing it for some time, and I’m glad it’s behind me."

Weiner also made a return to the social media site that first got him in trouble. The Democrat launched a new Twitter account Monday with the handle @anthonyweiner.
