Inna Zhirkova, the gorgeous 23-year-old winner of the 2012 Mrs. Russia beauty contest, has relinquished her title after she was publicly humiliated in an interview that went viral on YouTube, according to The Moscow Times

Zhirkova, a mother of two, was asked various questions by a Russian state television reporter, including whether the Earth revolves around the sun or the sun revolves around the Earth. As The Moscow Times has it

"A flustered-looking Zhirkova says, 'Probably the sun — no, the Earth.' When pressed to chose one, she laughs and says, 'I don't know!'"

That exchange, part of a two-minute segment from Russia's "Crowned Heads" TV show, subsequently made its way to YouTube, where it has been viewed over 4.7 million times in the past two weeks, said The Moscow Times.

The video, available in Russian here, was titled: "Footballist Zhirkov's Wife: She Has Money but No Brains."

Zhirkova, who is married to Russian soccer star Yury Zhirkov, was shamed into giving up the title and has since "fallen into a state of depression," according to The Moscow Times, citing Komsomolskaya Pravda.

She said she will not join the competition next year.
