Magnitude 5.5 earthquake rocks Honduras

A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck Honduras on Wednesday, reported Reuters, citing the US Geological survey. 

Brazil's Globo News said the quake was felt in the Honduran capital of Tegucigalpa, while Reuters cited officials as saying there were no immediate signs of damage. 

The earthquake hit 99 miles outside the capital, according to Reuters.

Globo said it was a relatively shallow quake.
