A man in China's southeastern Guangdong province had to be hospitalized after inserting a 20-inch live eel into his buttocks, according to The Sun.

The man told emergency crews he attempted the feat after seeing it in a porn movie.
According to Chinese news aggregation website Mop.com, the Asian swamp eel ate through the man's colon and got stuck in his body cavity.
The man underwent all-night surgery to remove the eel, which died shortly thereafter.

According to The Sun, the man may face animal cruelty charges.
As hard as it may be to believe, this isn't the first time someone's tried this stunt.
A New Zealand man had to have an eel removed from his anus in 2012, and a man in China died after his friends inserted an eel into his buttocks as a joke in 2010.
