If Congress and the president fail to pass a continuing budget resolution by March 27th, a government shutdown will go into effect. Washington failed to stop the sequester, and with yet another budget deadline looming, President Obama is trying to woo Congressional Republicans with a visit on their turf. This week, President Obama has met with nearly every member of Congress, a goodwill effort as Democrats and Republicans try to balance the budget and avoid the government shutdown.
