Prince Harry a 'coward' with mental problems, Taliban says (VIDEO)

Prince Harry has probably developed “a mental problem,” a Taliban spokesman said today after the British Royal compared his tour of Afghanistan to playing video games.

One day after interviews with the prince aired around the world, the Taliban returned some media fire by suggesting Harry was a “coward.”

“There are 49 countries with their powerful military failing in the fight against the mujahideen, and now this prince comes and compares this war with his games, PlayStation or whatever he calls it,” Zabiullah Mujahid told AFP.

Prince Harry is co-pilot aboard an Apache helicopter in charge of the weapons systems. Reporters were allowed to interview Prince Harry – known as Capt. Wales while in uniform – in Afghanistan as long as the stories appeared after he returned home.

During those interviews published this week, he suggested he’d probably killed Taliban insurgents, The Globe and Mail said.

“It’s a joy for me because I’m one of those people who loves playing PlayStation and Xbox, so with my thumbs I like to think I’m probably quite useful,” Harry said.

Harry spent 20 weeks in Afghanistan with the 9,500-strong British forces. An estimated 440 UK service members have died in the 11-year conflict. The Taliban consider him a trophy target.

“We have always wanted to capture or kill this prince, but he was mostly kept inside, safe, and in guarded places underground,” Mujahid said, according to the Daily Mail.
