Spanish police today arrested a Panamanian woman found carrying over three pounds of cocaine in her new breast implants, reported Reuters.
The woman raised suspicions after guards at the Barcelona airport asked her what brought her to Columbia -- she was flying from Bogota, said Reuters.
The Interior Ministry said police took to her a hospital to confirm that she had recently had breast implant surgery. Officials said her breasts were scarred and stuck with bloody gauze, according to the Associated Press.
Passengers flying into Europe from Latin America on so-called "hot flights" are often found involved with drug smuggling, said Reuters.
