Biggie Smalls autopsy report reveals death by single bullet

Fifteen years after the fatal shooting of Christopher Wallace (aka Notorious B.I.G.), police release the autopsy report.

The autopsy report of the killing of B.I.G., who also went by the name "Biggie Smalls," reveals that he was struck by three bullets but only one was fatal, reported TMZ.

The 24-year-old Wallace was shot in a drive-by shooting on Wilshire Blvd in the passenger seat of a Chevrolet Suburban.

The report confirms that Wallace was hit four times, said TMZ – in the back, forearm, thigh and hip.

The final gunshot to his hip was the fatal blow, ripping through his organs and lodging into his shoulder area.

The bullet hit his colon, liver, heart and lung.

The report also said that the rapper was close to 400 pounds and had no alcohol or drugs in his system the night of the shooting, said the Associated Press.

Wallace was gunned down on March 9, 1997 just a few months after the death of rival rap artist Tupac Shakur was murdered on September 13, 1996 in Las Vegas.

Many believe the murders were connected.

The deaths of both Christopher Wallace and Tupac Shakur have never been resolved.

GlobalGrind interviewed the officer in charge of Wallace's murder investigation and he said that it is unlikely to ever be solved as the prime suspect was shot and killed in 2003.
