Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has received a visit in hospital from her sister and brother, Pippa and James Middleton.
A pregnant Kate, 30, admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in Central London for hyperemesis gravidarum — a severe pregnancy-related sickness — also received another visit from her husband, Prince William, according to .
Mom and dad, Carole and Michael Middleton, have reportedly visited since Kate was admitted over the weekend.
The prince and duchess announced Monday, via a statement from St James Palace, that they were expecting their first child together.
Little information has leaked about Middleton's condition, although two Australian radio hosts got a full update when they prank called the hospital pretending to be the Queen and Prince of Wales. They exchanged a two-minute conversation with the staff, and found out that Kate had been "retching," among other symptoms.
According to the New York Daily News, the hospital admitted that an operator messed up by putting through the call from Mel Greig and Michael Christian of Sydney’s 2Day FM.
The hospital has since said its telephone protocols were being reviewed.
Meantime, Dickie Arbiter, the Queen’s former aide, told The Daily Mail:
"This is a shocking breach of security. It simply beggars belief that a member of the public could call up and obtain details of the Duchess’s medical condition in this way."
Pippa, 29, and James, 25, who left after an hour with Kate, did not speak to the media outside the hospital when they left at 5 p.m., around 10 minutes before Prince William, who according to Todaynews.com had been by his wife's side all morning.
Pippa, who according to US Weekly will be the new child's godmother, wore a khaki trench and boots and a wide smile.
