The Amazing: Sweden’s Supergroup from Stockholm

Sweden’s The Amazing, has echoes of 1960s California pop rock and 70s British folk rock on their debut album “Gentle Stream”.

Christoffer Gunrup and Reine Fiske are two of the band members.

Their music has both an expansive, spatial quality to it as well as a strong pop sensibility.

Fiske says the music just “flows” when they play.

Grunrup adds there’s sometimes an “Olympic feel” to it because their music is so epic.
