Obama on Jay Leno talks about rape, Donald Trump, Afghanistan (VIDEO)

President Barack Obama stopped by "The Tonight Show" to chat with Jay Leno on a number of topics including Indiana Republican Richard Mourdock’s comments on rape, Afghanistan and Donald Trump's latest announcement about the president.

The Daily Beast reported the president had sharp word for the anti-abortion Republican who has made a number of controversial comments about rape, including his opinion that if a woman gets pregnant from being raped it is “what God intended.”

“I don’t know where these guys come up with these ideas,” Obama said. “Rape is rape. It is a crime…This is exactly why you don’t want a bunch of politicians, mostly male, making decisions about women’s health care.”

But there were also plenty of laughs.

In his opening monologue, Leno poked fun of the Commander-in-chief saying “It’s a real treat. He only does these shows once or twice a week.”

And Obama had a little fun at Donald Trump's expense, after Trump's "surprise" announcement that he would offer $5 million to charity to see the president's college and passport records.

"This all dates back to when we were growing up together in Kenya," Obama joked. "We had constant run-ins on the soccer field."
