Even a quarter of voters who plan to vote for Romney said they would like to see the money keep flowing.

The GOP presidential candidate ruffled some feathers last week when he vowed to cut federal money for PBS during the first presidential debate in Denver despite his professed love for Big Bird.

The poll of 800 likely voters was taken Friday through Sunday, and has a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.
