6 things Bibi’s bomb immediately called to mind
Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, points to a red line he drew on a graphic of a bomb while addressing the United Nations General Assembly on September 27, 2012 in New York City. The 67th annual event gathers more than 100 heads of state and government for high level meetings on nuclear safety, regional conflicts, health and nutrition and environment issues.
Benjamin Netanyahu's UN speech, in which he urged the United Nations to adopt a "red line" to stop Iran from advancing its nuclear program, was definitely an eye-catcher. In fact, the strikingly simple board Bibi pulled out during his address has our minds wandering to some other equally iconic visuals.

1. An elementary school presentation.
Remember wresting with poster boards and Elmer's glue in that pre-science fair rush? Netanyahu's graphic brought the days of class presentations rushing back, sweaty palms and all. Though we have to admit, Bibi was way more graceful with his props than we were back in the day.
2. Banksy's "bomb-hugger" graphic.
The notorious print by esteemed street artist Banksy is just as politically charged as the Israeli PM's address AND looks just as good in stark black and white with a pop of color.

3. A charity fundraiser.
Non-profits have been using the ole' line-moving visual trick since the dawn of time. Watching Bibi point to line after line on his bomb, we could almost hear the enthusiastic fundraisers: "We're 60 percent of the way to our goal, but we still need your support!"
4. Mario Kart's Bob-ombs.
Anyone who's ever held a Nintendo game controller in their hands has a mental picture of Bomb-ombs, the living, breathing, mechanical-wind-up explosive characters that made their debut in Super Mario Bros 2. Maybe Bibi has been putting in some gaming time?
5. Hip-hop clothier "The Hundreds" bomb graphic.
The hipper-than-thou brand's logo is named "Adam Bomb," which they print on fitted hats and tee-shirts worn by celebs and hip-hop heads alike.
6. Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
In all seriousness, the world has already experienced two atomic bombings that wreaked horrific consequences. If we agree with Netanyahu on anything, it's that we don't want to see nuclear weapons used on anyone, ever again.
