Security surrounds Amsterdam plane after suspected hijacking
Security forces surrounded a plane at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport on Wednesday in response to warnings of a suspected hijacker on board.

The Daily Mail reported two F-16 fighter jets were scrambled by the Dutch Defense Ministry to intercept the Vueling flight which was traveling from Malaga to Amsterdam at the time.
Security officials had become worried when the plane's pilot lost radio contact upon entering Dutch airspace.
The plane with 180 passengers was then surrounded upon landing but Dutch officials say that there was "a miscommunication and that no hijacking took place," according to the Daily Mail.
The incident came on the same day that authorities discovered a World War II–era bomb buried near the airport’s busy Terminal C.
Authorities closed a two of the airport's terminals and one landing strip.
