Jimmy Kimmel is getting married.
The Associated Press reported he is engaged to girlfriend Molly McNearney, who just happens to be the co-head writer for his show "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
His spokesman Lewis Kay said the comedian proposed during a recent vacation in South Africa's Kruger National Park, the AP reported.
The couple started dating in 2009 after Kimmel's high profile relationship with comic Sarah Silverman ended.

"After Jimmy and Sarah broke up, Molly and Jimmy both found themselves single, and they clicked," a source told People magazine. "They're really happy together."
Kimmel will host the upcoming Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 23, according to People.
Kimmel, now 44, is 10 years older McNearney; it is his second marriage.
