Randy Travis' rough year just got rougher: the country singer was arrested in Texas Tuesday night for driving while intoxicated, and was naked when the cops pulled him over.

It was unclear why the singer was not wearing clothes when he was pulled over, TMZ reported.

Travis, who is currently embroiled in a messy divorce with his ex-wife and former manager Elizabeth Travis, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and retaliation and obstruction, ABC News reported.

It is his second arrest for intoxication this year—he was arrested in early February when he was found drunk inside his car with an open bottle of wine, according to ABC News.

Travis also refused to take a breathalyzer, and was charged with retaliation because he verbally threatened one of the officers, according to ABC News. A blood draw was taken to determine his blood alcohol level.

The 53-year-old drove his car off the road outside Tioga, Texas, Tom Vinger, spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety, told CBS News. The vehicle had struck several barricades in a construction zone, and Travis suffered minor injuries during the crash.

Travis was held at the station overnight, ABC News reported. He was released on bail Wednesday after posting a total of $21,500 bond, $20,000 of which was for his retaliation charge, a third-degree felony in Texas according to Reuters
