Natalie Portman marries Benjamin Millepied in private ceremony: reports

Natalie Portman has married Benjamin Millepied, who choreographed the the 2010 movie "Black Swan" for which she won the Best Actress Oscar.

The pair married in a Jewish ceremony at a private residence near Big Sur in California on Sunday night, according to US Weekly.

The ceremony was reportedly held held under a chuppah in front of just 60 guests, including Ivanka Trump, at around 8 p.m., People reported.

The couple have a 13-month-old son together, named Aleph.

In honor of the nuptials, E Online has come up with the "Five Things to Know About Natalie Portman's New Husband, Benjamin Millepied," including that the 35-year-old Bordeaux-born Frenchman's name means "a thousand feet."

When accepting her Academy Award for "Black Swan," Portman, 3, called Benjamin her "beautiful love" and thanked him for giving her the "most important role of my life."

Commenting on the choice of location for the wedding, a source told US Weekly that: "[Big Sur] is one of Natalie's favorite places - whenever she needs a break from LA, she comes here to escape.

"This wedding is for their closest friends and family. It will be a very relaxed affair. They're not sending out invites. Natalie may not even buy a new dress!" 

People wrote that Portman may now consider becoming a French citizen, like her husband.

"I now have the possibility of taking on French nationality. It would accomplish the Francophile dreams of my father and myself," she told the magazine.

"I lived in Paris when I was 12 and my father gave me the name Natalie as an homage to Gilbert Bécaud's song. Everything in my life has drawn me towards a French family."
