The London Olympics Committee is hoping to Spice up your life.

The Spice Girls, London's most iconic musical girl group, is set to reunite to perform together at the closing ceremonies of the 2012 Olympic games. According to the Telegraph, the five singers, Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), will join other pop stars George Michael, The Who, Take That and Jessie J for the event on August 12.

This will be the first time the Spice Girls have performed as a group since 2009.

In a radio interview, Posh told fans not to get their hopes up for a reunion tour. "I don't know about a comeback tour, but I loved being back with the girls … we are very excited about the Olympics."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the girls are reportedly going to perform their 1996 single "Wannabe," which was a number one hit in more than 30 countries.
