Marcus Jordan, son of Michael Jordan, arrested

Marcus Jordan, the son of basketball great Michael Jordan, was arrested over the weekend and charged with disorderly conduct. 

Jordan, a college basketball player himself, was arrested at 2:11 AM on Sunday morning after a drunken altercation outside a hotel in Omaha, Nebraska, Reuters reported.

According to the Huffington Post, police responded to a call at the Embassy Suites hotel where they found security trying to subdue Jordan, who at the time was having an argument with two women in the hotel driveway. 

"After a brief struggle, it took multiple officers to control and handcuff the suspect," the news release said.

Police also called Jordan "very animated, intoxicated and uncooperative."

According to CBS Sports, this is not the first time Jordan has made headlines this off season. In May, Jordan "accidentally" propositioned a porn star via Twitter. Jordan claimed the Tweet was meant to be a direct message. 

In August of last year Jordan also tweeted about spending upwards of $35,000 during a wild weekend in Vegas. Both Tweets were later deleted. 

Jordan was booked at the Douglas County Department of Corrections for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and obstructing justice. He had been released by Sunday night.
