Indian man gets severe headaches when he watches porn

Watching porn giving you a headache?

In a case study published in the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior, Indian researchers found an unusual condition in which sexual arousal from watching pornography causes exploding head pain.

Researchers from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in India found a young man whose porn watching habits left him with an intense headache.

According to MyHealthNewsDaily, they said that it was unclear whether the pain was caused by the stimulation from watching porn or the act of masturbation.

The study speculates that muscle tension or bloodflow to the brain creates the perception of pain in the body.

It is believed that about one percent of males experience head pain while having sex.

"This guy is interesting because he's just watching porn and not actually having sex," said Dawn Buse, associate professor of neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and director of behavioral medicine at the Montefiore Headache Center, reported ABC News.

"But he probably still gets aroused and excited, which may be even worse than having sex because there's no release."

According to Zee News the study names the patient as an “unmarried male software professional,” who had complained of “severe, exploding” headaches that peaked about 10 minutes into the porn viewing.
