Kim Kardashian and Kanye West sued for alleged ties to Al Qaeda

LOS ANGELES — Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend Kanye West are in the spotlight again, but not for reasons you'd expect.

The couple is currently facing a lawsuit alleging that they are members of Al Qaeda, Newser reported Tuesday

Jonathan Lee Riches — who, it bears noting, holds the Guinness World Record for “The World’s Most Litigious Man” for filing over 5,000 lawsuits in the past eight years — has also implicated Kardashian's family in the suit, according to Newser.

“On June 17, 2012, I was in West Virginia, deep in the hills and I stumbled upon the defendants who were all at a Al-Qaeda secret training camp,” Riches wrote in the lawsuit, a copy of which was obtained by AllHipHop.com

Riches claims he witnessed the reality stars and rapper pledging their allegiance to Al Qaeda, burning the US flag, defacing Barack Obama's photo, and shooting AK-47s in the air, Prefix magazine reported.

The icing on the cake? They also apparently performed a concert for all Al-Qaeda members, according to Riches' claims.

"Honestly, the part of this story I can't swallow is that Kanye and Kim would put that much effort into doing anything without cameras capturing the moment," wrote Gawker's Louis Peltzman. "These aren't exactly people who shy away from the public eye."

We'll just hold our breath for the leaked photos, then.
