The pair met in 1998 when Depp saw the French actress sitting with a group of friends at the Costes Hotel in Paris and invited her over to chat. The two immediately hit it off and have been a well-known item ever since, according to Hollywood.com.

Although they never married, they have two children together, 13-year-old Lily-Rose and 9-year-old Jack.

Their relationship has been rumored to be on the rocks ever since they moved to Los Angeles from France. Depp, 49, and Paradis, 39, haven't appeared together on a red carpet in about a year, People.com reported.

A longtime resident of Plan-de-la-Tour in southern France, Depp recently told French magazine VSD that living in France with Paradis and their kids "has given me everything. A marvelous family and also an equilibrium which I missed enormously."
