According to Brazilian news site Terra, Faria is a member of the board of directors of Império da Casa Verde samba school. He is being charged with suppressing documents and damaging public property, along with 20-year-old Gaviões da Fiel reveller Cauê Ferreira.

This isn't the first time Faria has had a run-in with the law, reported Terra. In 2001, he was charged with stealing from bank machines and forming a gang.
