Jakarta: train stowaways now dodging goop mops

The broke commuters who hitch rides atop Jakarta's trains now face city workers flinging putrid waste.
The goop wars begin today, the Jakarta Globe reports. A railway official tells the Associated Press that "some people say its inhumane, but that’s fine … letting them ride on the roofs is even more inhumane.”
Indonesian authorities have, so far, used concrete pendulums, attack dogs, paintball guns and the entreaties of Muslim clerics to ward stowaways off commuter trains.
