Bollywood director to offer lead role to Indian-origin porn star

Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt, the original Man Who Can't Keep His Mouth Shut, is set to offer Indian-origin porn star Sunny Leone the lead role in his upcoming film, Jism 2, the Times of India reports.  Before you get any ideas: "jism" means "body" in Hindi.  The first film starred Bipasha Basu and John Abraham.

"The female protagonist will not be a DU student, but a small town girl. So if Sunny accepts the offer, she'll be playing a girl from Himachal, maybe Shimla or Nainital, who shifts to Delhi. The movie is about how she survives in that world and gets into the most bizarre zones. It'll be shot in the city's discotheques, and we'll capture its fast life and the drug scene here. The movie will essentially focus on how the character lives on the edge," he says.

With all the realism of a shampoo commercial and half the acting chops, it seems Bollywood and porn are made for each other. But it took reality TV to bring them together.  Leone has been a smash on the Big Brother clone Bigg Boss 5, where the other inmates of the bitchhouse don't know the full details of her resume. 

Meanwhile, sales of Leone-themed sex toys, clicks to Leone's facebook and twitter pages, and — of course — illegal downloads of her porn flicks have gone through the roof.
