On Wednesday, The Takeaway spoke with Thomas Day, an Iraqi War veteran who grew up in State College, Pennsylvania, where he took part in Jerry Sandusky’s Second Mile program. “Young folks of my generation don’t have a whole lot of faith in the leaders,” Day said. “And for me, this situation with my local leaders back home in State College, Pennsylvania, kind of encapsulates that.” Some Takeaway listeners thought Thomas’s assessment of the Baby Boomer generation was spot on. David Meyers, is a student at Columbia Law School and a writer for The Daily Caller.
